The introduction of the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Programe marks a significant step toward strengthening Information Technology Education. The programe has been offered by the institute since June 2001 to meet the growing demand for skilled computing professionals. The MCA Programe is a full-time two-year degree course, structured into four semesters, with each academic year comprising two semesters with contemporary syllabus. This Programe enables students to face the dynamic world of computing and digital technologies, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the rapidly evolving IT industry.

The MCA Programe shall furnish students with a strong foundation in core IT disciplines such as Data Science, Networking, Algorithm Analysis, AIML, Soft Ccomputing, DBS, Java, and Python with contemporary syllabus as amended from time to time by the University

The programe combines theoretical knowledge with practical exposure through major project to prepare students for successful careers in the IT industry and ITES sectors. The programe emphasizes coding skill, logical thinking, database designing skill, entrepreneurship skill by establishing student clubs namely Coding Club, AI & ML Club, DB Club, and incubation center. The Communication Lab at CIME is well equipped with specialized and pedagogically relevant applications that facilitate systematic development of listening, reading, writing, and speaking skill and employability readiness. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical exposure through projects, internships, industry visit to augment students to understand real-world business challenges. The institute provides comprehensive pre-placement training to enhance students' employability and prepare them for successful careers in the IT world.
