Admission Procedure - MCA

Admission to the two-year MCA programme will be through the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). Candidates are required to apply only online as per the procedure prescribed by OJEE from time to time. The official website for application is www.ojee.nic.in.

Candidates who are OJEE rank holders and have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 3 streams with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at the 2 level, or who hold a BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science) degree, are eligible for admission.

Candidates applying for reserved seats (SC/ST/SEBC) must be domiciled in the state of Odisha. Reservation will be provided as per the rules in force at the time of admission. In addition, provisions exist for EWS (Economically Weaker Section), GC (Green Card), PC (Physically Challenged), ES (Ex-Servicemen), and TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) categories.

OJEE will conduct a centralized counselling process after the publication of the entrance examination results. During counselling, candidates will have the opportunity to select their preferred colleges and programmes based on their ranks. Seat allotment will be made on the basis of merit and availability of seats in the selected institutions.

After seat allotment, candidates must produce original documents and certificates for verification during the counselling process. This includes academic records, identity proof, and other relevant documents. Candidates are required to confirm their admission by paying the prescribed course fee to the allotted college within the specified timeline.

Upon confirmation of admission, candidates must report to the allotted college on the scheduled date to commence the MCA programme.

In the event of vacant seats, OJEE, CAT, XAT, or MAT rank holders may enroll directly at the college level within the prescribed timeline.
